Deepak Neopane, Executive Director Mathnasium Myanmar and Center Director
Deepak Neopane has worked as software engineer and consultant for over 30 years mostly in the San Francisco Bay area in California, USA, also known as Silicon Valley. He has Bachelor and Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oregon and California.
He is a native of Myanmar, but left Myanmar with his family during his childhood years. Deepak always wanted to give back to his country of birth. When he visited Myanmar in 2015 to explore how he could give back to his country and community of birth, he realized that technology and education would have the biggest impact in Myanmar. Deepak partnered with local businessmen in the education sector and he founded City College Yangon. At City College, Yangon, students learn Engineering, Business and IT programs from the UK, that leads to a Bachelor Degree from a UK university. Additionally, he has established the STEM School, which teaches STEM along with Robotics and STEM with Computer Science from grade 1 through 12, utilizing a program taught at Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy.
Deepak founded and established Mathnasium Myanmar, opening its first center in Yangon. His business is a country-wide Franchise of Mathnasium Inc., USA. Deepak's mission for students in Myanmar is: when students have clear understanding of math, master and love it, they can choose any major or career in their life and increase their chances of success.
